Tonight is the third and final presidential debate before the 2008 elections. So, what is said tonight is likely to leave a lasting memory in the voting public for both candidates. Due to this, tonight’s debate is the most important debate of the three and is very high stakes. It will be interesting to see if either Obama or McCain can stick with tonight’s topics of the economy and domestic issues or whether they veer into personal attacks. Also, Obama’s lead in the polls has continued to widen since their previous debate in Nashville. McCain will have to do some serious work in this debate to make up for lost ground while Obama merely has to pull out a solid debate without any catastrophes. With this being the final debate it is likely to pull the most viewers further emphasizing the importance of this debate for both candidates as a last attempt to sway the minds of the voters. Depending on the poll chosen, the latest results have Obama up by 10-11% over McCain and it will be very interesting to see where the polls land following the debate.
